2013 seemed to fly by, didn’t it? It’s like I turned around and before I knew it, the year was over. Done.
Last year, I put together a neat and tidy little list of goals I had for 2013. I didn’t meet many of them. Others changed as the year went on. Life happened. Things didn’t go according to plan.
And that’s okay.
So I’m not going to set any big sweeping goals this year. I don’t know what’s going to be happening in my life a year from now. I don’t know if I’m going to be in the same house, in the same city, in the same state. I don’t know if I’m going to find an agent for AMD&B when I start to query it. I don’t know if I’ll finish Dead Man’s Hand.
Instead, I’m going to set 12 smaller, monthly goals. January’s goal is to finish AMD&B revisions. After that? We’ll see.
But because I like lists, here’s what else I am going to do in 2014:
I’m going to take chances
I’m going to step outside of my comfort zone.
I’m going to be brave.
What are you going to do?
