WHAT I’M READING
KNIGHTS OF RILCH by the lovely Rachel O’Laughlin. I was lucky enough to read a snippet of this a few months ago when Rachel won one of my critique giveaways at TGNA & I’ve been dying to read the entire thing ever since.
WHAT I’M WRITING
What else? Finishing up AMD&B. Endings are hard and the last few weeks have been kind of crazy. I’ve been kind of stuck in the same place for the last few days, but I think I’ve finally figured out the problem and I’m so ready to move forward. After that, I’ll send it to my betas, revise, and get to querying!
WHAT INSPIRES ME RIGHT NOW
This is kind of a generic answer, but I’ve been listening to so much music lately that my fingers are itching to write! I’ve also (like everyone else) been watching a ton of Veronica Mars and now I kind of want to write a smart, sassy contemporary. (LEAVE IT ALONE, BRAIN. YOU HAVE ENOUGH TO WRITE).
WHAT ELSE I’VE BEEN UP TO
NoVaTeen is coming! If you live in the DC/MD/VA area and you haven’t already heard of this–it’s a free, one day festival happening at Arlington Central Library on March 8! I’ve been involved with this from the very beginning and I’m thrilled that it’s finally 10 days away!
I’ve also been working on a cover for Entangled and a few book layouts for Spencer Hill. I’ve been having so much fun with my design work lately! There’s just something so fulfilling about actually creating something that other people will see. It’s similar to the feeling I get from writing, but also completely different.
